California Dreaming: A Story of Connecticut Wine
Wesleyan Description: “Connecticut Vineyards: Overcoming Obstacles is a short film by made in a science documentary course at Wesleyan University co-taught by Professors Jacob Bricca and Suzanne O’Connell. The documentary focuses on the challenges vineyard owners must face in Connecticut and their subsequent path towards overcoming these obstacles. This documentary provides insight into the fastest growing agricultural sector in the state of Connecticut.”
This is a great informative video posted by Wesleyan students on Connecticut Wine. It is interesting to see the growth of this industry in Connecticut over the last ten years. All you have to do is take a look at the number of vineyards in the Wine Trail Passport from the past years and compare them with the 2011 list. It is encouraging to see the growing interest in locally grown food, produce, and sustainable Connecticut agriculture.
