A Unique Grape From The Piedmont- Dolcetto
BricDeBersan

Bric de Bersan Dolcetto is a light bodied wine from the Piedmont region in Northern Italy. With black cherries and ripe raspberry on the nose, it’s rich ruby red body drinks like a Pinot Noir. It’s dry, yet easy to drink and would make a great inexpensive table wine to serve with classic Italian dishes or pizza nights. At 13% ABV there is no alcohol burn or negative flavors to ruin the experience, and it’s priced low at about $12 per bottle.

Dolcetto is planted on the cooler slopes by the Piedmontese producers and is intended to be drunk while it’s young. If you see a bottle of this at your local wine shop I’d definitely recommend picking it up to try out this unique variety; enjoy a little taste of life in Northern Italy.
